Why Study in Glasgow Caledonian University?

Glasgow Caledonian University, also known as Oilthigh Chailleannach Ghlaschu in Scottish Gaelic and commonly referred to as GCU, Caledonian, or Caley, is a public educational institution situated in Glasgow, Scotland. Established in 1993 through the amalgamation of The Queen's College, Glasgow (established in 1875), and Glasgow Polytechnic (founded in 1991), the university is located in the Cowcaddens district, just north of the city center.

In June 2017, the university's affiliated institution in New York, established in 2013, received approval to confer degrees in the state—a significant milestone as the first foreign university-founded higher education institution to attain such recognition. However, by June 2023, GCU revealed plans to divest its New York campus, citing unmet expectations for its potential.
